Welcome to Camp ABC, a kid’s summer oasis for fun and adventure right here in Huntington, NY!

Our picturesque Long Island setting sets the stage for a season of exploration, friendship, and learning for toddlers ages 18+ months to children 7-years-old. Located on 2.5 acres of park land, our school grounds have provide a safe and FUN environment for children for more than 40 summers. At Camp ABC, every sunny day blossoms with new possibilities, from nature hikes and crafting to water play and storytelling.

Explore Camp ABC's Summer Program: Where Summertime Fun Meets Active Learning in Huntington, NY

At Camp ABC our days are brimming with action-packed activities – from sports to creative classes – all designed to foster active outdoor play. The highlight for many children is our Spray Park, a refreshing retreat full of summertime joy. We’ve mastered blending active learning with variety and fun, making Camp Huntington a cherished destination for youth all across Long Island.

Within our Huntington campus, seven expansive playgrounds, nine versatile classrooms, and an airy outdoor art studio create the perfect backdrop for your child’s summer adventures. Our day camp promises a treasure trove of memories where safe, imaginative play center our days. 

We celebrate the uniqueness of every child, maintaining small group sizes to ensure each camper enjoys ample space and attentive guidance. At Camp ABC, it’s all about loving attention, which we consider our secret ingredient for a transformative camp experience.

  • Fun and enriching activities

    Our activities are designed to engage your child’s imagination, foster their growth, and encourage social development. Campers enjoy arts and crafts, music, nature, sports, games, and story time.

  • Action-packed days

    We believe children benefit greatly from active play outdoors, which we encourage so long as the weather permits. Our campers especially love our Spray Park as it’s optimized for summertime fun!

    Camp ABC’s small group sizes afford your child the optimal amount of space and guidance they need to grow and learn. At Camp ABC, LOVING ATTENTION is our number one ingredient!

  • Designed for busy families

    Our camp runs for 9 consecutive weeks starting June 20th. Campers are welcome to join us for the entire session or drop-in based on a variety of scheduling options we offer.

If anyone is debating whether to send their children here... STOP... just do it. The newly renovated facilities are a perfect place for young ones to learn and grow and I've never met anyone so passionate about what they do.

We have Creative Camper groups for campers aged 18 to 24 months and for our 2-year-olds.

Busy Buddies

Busy Buddies are divided into groups for 3- and 4-year-old campers. Buddy up to lots of new friends!

Awesome Adventurers

Our Awesome Adventurers group is for our campers aged 5 to 7. Let the adventures begin!

Frequently Asked Questions

Camp ABC will not be in session Monday, June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.

Camp ABC will also be closed on July 3rd and July 4th in observance of Independence Day. 

Many parents find it helpful to book a tour of the school prior to enrolling, as this offers a firsthand look at our Huntington facilities, allows you to meet our dedicated staff, and provides a glimpse into the day-to-day environment your child will thrive in. You can book a tour right here on our website!

All campers must bring their own lunch and snack every day as food is not provided. 

Please send plenty to drink, especially on the hottest days, so we can keep your little ones nice and hydrated!

Please note: Camp ABC is Nut FREE.

Please also confirm that we have up-to-date documentation on any known allergies or special dietary needs for your child. This includes bee stings, poison ivy, fruits, etc.

Please make sure your child has the following items with them:

  1. Backpack / Drawstring Bag / Beach Bag
  2. Water Shoes
  3. Sunscreen and/or a Hat (apply sunscreen before camp)
  4. Water Bottle (labeled with your child’s name)
  5. Extra Bathing Suit (labeled with your child’s name)
  6. Beach Towel (labeled with your child’s name)
  7. Change of Clothes (labeled with your child’s name)
  8. Nut FREE Lunch and Snack in a Lunch Box (labeled with your child’s name)

Come Dressed for Fun!

Please send your child to camp in their bathing suit. 

Comfortable play clothes should be worn over your potty trained child’s bathing suit. 

NO flip-flops or sandals; water shoes are the best, and sneakers are good too.

Please label any and all of your child’s belongings AND clothing.

On Rainy and HOT days: All groups are assigned to an individual indoor classroom that’s not shared with any other groups. All classroom are equipped with air conditioners and kept comfortable and cool.

We stagger our Arrival and Dismissal Times to ensure everyone’s safety and convenience. 

  • 9:00am – 2:00pm: Awesome Adventurers 5-7’s & Busy Buddy 4’s
  • 9:30am – 1:30pm: Creative Campers 18-months to 2’s & Busy Buddy 3’s

At the Anne Brower School in the Huntington, NY, our programs spark curiosity and cultivate a lifelong love of learning in children from 18 months to 5 years old.

  • Toddler 2’s Program (18 months – 36 months): Our playful Toddler 2’s Program provide sa warm and stimulating environment where little ones can explore, discover, and develop essential social-emotional skills.
  • Nursery 3’s Program (3 years): In our Nursery 3’s Program, curious 3-year-olds blossom through play-based learning, building social skills, exploring their creativity, and getting ready for Pre-K success!
  • Pre-K Program (4 and 5 years): Our Pre-K program equips our students with the academic foundation and social-emotional skills they need to thrive in Kindergarten and beyond.

Learning Through Play:

Our play-based curriculum fosters a love of exploration and discovery. Through engaging activities, children learn critical thinking, problem-solving, and social skills at their own pace. We believe in individualized attention, allowing each child to build confidence and pursue their unique interests and passions.
